PC TECHNICIANS

Job Description

Compass Consulting Enterprises, Inc. is accepting applications for PC Technicians in Detroit, Michigan. Duties include installation, configuration and support of PC's in standalone environments as well as attached to Windows Server, NT Servers & Novell Servers. Successful applicant will have 2 or more years of technical experience troubleshooting and supporting PC hardware and desktop applications and computer networks. Individual should be motivated and self-directing with excellent diagnostic ability, interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

- Install and configure PC's standalone and attached to networks
- Install workstation software packages
- Install and configure printers - local and network
- Perform problem determination on new or existing PC's
- Diagnose and repair to card, board or other component level

Qualifications

- Experience configuring workstations with ALL Windows OS
- Experience with using utilities and tools in ALL Windows operating systems
- A+ Certification - REQUIRED
- Familiarity with Windows Servers and TCP/IP
- Familiarity with installing, using and diagnosing other desktop applications
