Job Description
Compass Consulting Enterprises, Inc. is accepting applications for
Network Engineers in Detroit, Michigan. Must have a working knowledge
of telecommunication systems; specifically in LAN and WAN communications.
Must have experience in network design and configuration. Experience
with Nortel Networks, Enterasys, and CISCO WAN/LAN equipment is
preferred. Must be able to work flexible hours. Skilled in the use
of desktop software applications including Microsoft Office Suite
and Visio. Must be able to communicate effectively, both orally
and in writing, with internal and external customers and have the
ability to assist with formal and informal presentations. Must have
strong organizational skills with the ability to assume project
leadership roles.
Hours are 7:30AM to 6:15PM Monday through Friday, with rotational
24X7 on-call support. Must have car and carry a pager.
This position is not for a technician. Individual must be an engineer,
independent thinker and able to work well in a group.
